Amy Knoetze

Medical Aesthetics Therapist

After completing an intensive, specialised three-year course in advanced holistic health, skincare and business studies, Amy went straight into the medical aesthetics industry. She excelled in her position as head therapist at an advanced laser clinic in Canal Walk, providing medical aesthetic procedures including skin peels and various forms of laser treatment.

After two years she decided to spread her wings and moved to London where she trained and worked alongside world renowned dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Her client list included the rich and famous A-listers of the world.

Featured regularly in the press, Amy became a pioneer in the industry going on to lead and train teams of medical therapists at E.F. Medispa – the top clinic chain in the United Kingdom – where she also lead the team to receive the UK’s Gold Standard Aesthetics Award in 2011.

With a passion for dermatology and advanced aesthetic procedures, she leaves no stone unturned in her quest to stay abreast of all new scientific studies and developments in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Dr Mariska Oosthuizen

GP with a special interest in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine

Dr Oosthuizen qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Pretoria in 2009. In 2003, she started with her training in Aesthetic Medicine through extensive training done at Medskills Training Academy and it was then when her love for the ‘art of beauty’ was awakened. Her aesthetic career started in Pretoria in 2014 when she started her own aesthetic clinic. In 2018, she and her family relocated to Somerset West.

Dr Mariska is passionate about the holistic wellbeing of her patients and that we all deserve to feel beautiful and valuable. She takes responsibility and time for addressing each individual’s expectation, fears and concerns while working together to achieve reasonable aesthetic goals.

“Aesthetics is not just about enhancing to outer facial features, it is much more, it is about the creation of a better self – image, having a more positive self-esteem, having more confidence that radiates through patients and lifts their spirits.”

Being in the industry since 2004 and with all my experience gained over the years I can give back and help educate and build confidence in the people I get to meet.
